DAVID COOK
David Cook is an Occupational Safety & Health Compliance Specialist and an OSHA Authorized Instructor with over 30 years of experience in the Construction, Maritime and General Industries with 6 years in the US Navy. He has an engineering degree specializing in metallurgy, metallography, ultrasonics and radiography as well as being a Competent Person Trainer / EM385 and certified welding inspector. David is also a staff instructor at the Center for Environmental Education and Training, Saint Louis University College for Public Health and Social Justice (Midwest OSHA Education Center) and an instructor for PSG (Guardian) Fall Protection. He has also been an authorized First Aid, CPR and AED trainer certified by American Red Cross.
TONY CAIMI
Tim has some 40 years of combined Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental and Fire Protection experience in his professional background. His professional career includes Corporate, Director, and Managerial positions with Fortune 500 Companies including Monsanto Chemical Company, Lockheed Martin Marietta, Middle South Utilities, Boeing, Daimler Chrysler, and Tim is currently the Vice President of Podojil and Associates Consulting Firm as well as an Instructor for Wise Safety and Environmental, St. Louis University’s OSHA Out Reach and MOEC Training Programs. He is a Certified Safety Professional and Published Author.
Throughout his career Tim has Administered Plant Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics', Medical and Fire Protection Programs and Departments. He has developed programs to assure compliance with State, Federal and Local codes and regulations as well as reduce injuries, illnesses and Cumulative Trauma Disorders (CTD's). His programs have proved successful in reducing Incident Rates 68%, Lost Work Day Cases 63%, and Severity Rates (Lost Work Days) 57%. His programs have further reduced Workmen's Compensation Cost 38%. He has developed Safety, Health, Environmental and Fire Protection procedures to meet ISO 9000 and ISO 14001 requirements, and obtained Certification.
Tim has worked with Military, Government, and Civilian Personnel throughout his career. He has held and maintained a "Top Secret Clearance" designation both with Lockheed Martin Marietta and Boeing. He has served on several Professional Boards including the NFPA and the Prestressed Concrete Institute. His programs and facilities have served as the “Benchmark” for the Corporations he has worked for. His programs and practices have been benchmarked by other Organizations and Corporations.
Tim also currently serves as an Instructor for Wise Safety and Environmental and a Staff Instructor for St. Louis University’s OSHA Outreach and MOEC Training Programs. He is competent to teach the OSHA 500, 501, 510 and 511 courses as well as Machine Guarding, Permit Required Confined Space, Fall Arrest Systems, Lockout Tagout, Hazardous Materials, Respiratory Protection and Awareness, Introduction to Evacuation and Emergency Planning, Health Hazard Awareness, Understanding OSHA Confined Space, Developing an Effective Safety and Health Program, Material Handling, Fall Hazard Awareness for Construction and General Industry, Accident Investigation, OSHA Record Keeping, Trenching and Excavation, and Warehousing and Storage Safety.
LARRY BERRY
Larry's success in the Electrical Safety, Cable Installation and OSHA Safety Industries are largely due to practical hands-on experience. Besides developing his own businesses, Larry's career within the Electrical Industry also included being National Sales Manager for Condux International and Regional Sales Manager for Greenlee Textron. Working both with management and the workers, Larry has developed the knowledge to understand the true needs within the Electrical Industry.
Larry is OSHA Electrical Instructor for the Midwest OSHA Training Centers of St. Louis University. As the electrical instructor at the Midwest OSHA Training Center he has trained Safety Professionals, Engineers, and OSHA Compliance officers on NFPA 70E Safe Work Practices and OSHA Electrical Standards.
